What is Dovey?
Dovey is an AI ad maker for Facebook and Instagram ads. Give it your website and it finds the winning ads in your category, writes a brief from them, and makes new ads in your brand. You approve, skip or change each one.
Can I try Dovey for free?
Yes. The Free plan needs no card and has limited usage every week, enough to research your category and try a few ads. Ads made on Free carry a light makedovey.com watermark. to start.
How is Dovey different from ChatGPT or other AI image tools?
A general AI tool makes a picture from a prompt. Dovey starts from the ads that are already winning in your category and in your competitors' accounts, writes a brief from them, and makes each ad with your product photo, colors, type and voice. You start from what works instead of a blank prompt.
Where do the winning ads come from?
From the Meta Ad Library, which is public. Dovey reads every ad for its angle, hook, offer and format, and ranks them with its own score. Meta publishes no spend for ordinary ads, and Dovey never makes up numbers.
Will my ads look like copies of my competitors' ads?
No. Dovey borrows what works, the angle, the hook and the format, and makes the ad with your product, your colors and your words. It never reuses another brand's pictures or logo.
How many ads can I make?
It depends on your plan and on what you make. Free has limited usage and needs no card. Pro is $29 a month with 12x usage and Max is $99 a month with 60x usage. Usage resets every Monday. Usage depends on what you make. Pictures and Dovey's own AI use more. Your own agent's edits use almost none. You can make a whole set of ads from one product photo in one go.
Do I need a designer or any ad experience?
No. and Dovey reads your brand in about a minute: your products, colors, fonts and voice. To change an ad, say what you want in plain words.
Can I use Dovey in Claude, ChatGPT or Slack?

Does Dovey post ads to my ad account?
Not yet. Publishing straight to Meta ads is coming soon. Until then, you export your ads and upload them in Ads Manager.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are month to month and you cancel in Settings. Your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for, then your workspace moves to Free.
