Connect Dovey to ChatGPT
With Dovey connected, ChatGPT finds the winning ads in your category, writes a brief from them and makes new ads in your brand. You approve, skip or change each one in the chat.
How to connect

Open Connectors in ChatGPT
Settings, then Connectors. If you do not see a Create button, go to Settings, Apps and Connectors, Advanced, and turn on Developer mode.

Create the Dovey connector
Click Create. Name it Dovey and paste the MCP server URL.

Sign in to Dovey
Authentication: OAuth. Click Create. ChatGPT opens a Dovey sign-in. A free account works.

Turn Dovey on in a new chat
Click the plus (or the tools icon), choose Dovey under connectors, and ask.

Returns the top performing ads, with the angles and hooks that score best.

Makes the ads in your colors, type and voice. You approve or skip each one in the chat.
Change the first ad to a bathroom shelf in morning light
Makes a new version of that ad. The first one stays as it was.
Questions
Is developer mode safe?
It only allows custom connectors. Dovey's tools read public ads, your brand and your own workspace, and make the ads you ask for. Nothing is deleted or published.
Does it work in the ChatGPT desktop app?
Yes, once the connector is created on the web under the same account.
What is the difference from the Claude connector?
None on Dovey's side; the same server serves both. The assistants differ in how they write.
What does it cost?
The connector is free to add. Free has limited usage and needs no card. Pro is $29 a month with 12x usage and Max is $99 a month with 60x usage. Usage resets every Monday.
There is no Create button
Developer mode is off, or the workspace admin has not allowed custom connectors.
The tool is listed but not used
Ask for it by name once, "use Dovey to research...", and ChatGPT keeps using it in that chat.
